Always There

Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!”

Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand. Then he said, “Faint-heart, what got into you?” Matthew 14

So, whether we were pushed out of the boat, or we recklessly jumped out of the boat and have now lost our nerve…lost our way, Jesus is there…ready to save…ready to rescue…

But I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4

    Hi Kim –
    Wow! Great encouragement this morning. I have recently “jumped out of the boat” and this morning am feeling like I could have a panic attack!

    Thanks for the reminder to lean on the one who saves me from my fears!

    What about when you’ve been thrown out of the boat and then they try to run over you too??? No really, this was perfect for me right now!

    Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Ps 27:14
    Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. Cor 16:13-14

    Ahhh…I needed this today.

    Sending big gratitude your way…and slipping on the water wings – pink ones with starfish!
